Conspirators are convinced Burger King's Impossible Whopper gives men breasts

a conspiracy theory that the meatless burger causes men to grow breasts has become a growing concern online.

Another person tweeted on Thursday, “Sure, let's turn our boys into girls fast!!! What a great agenda!"

James Stangle, a doctor of veterinary medicine in South Dakota. “Just six glasses of soy milk per day has enough estrogen to grow boobs on a male.”
Stangle’s number crunching and conclusion, however, may be skewed, the Washington Post reported.

For one, Tri-State Livestock News is a trade publication for the livestock industry and according to its About Us page, “growth and success of Tri-State Livestock News is due to the long-term support from the publication’s stockmen and agribusiness customer base.”

For obvious reasons, the growth of plant-based companies like Impossible Foods and Beyond Meat has become an adversary of sorts to the livestock industry.

Who drinks 6 glasses of milk a day?

I don't even drink a full glass of milk a day.

Why are they associating soy with a product that doesn't have any soy in it?

Why do they have to lie and deceive?

I've had one of the impossible burgers. They aren't bad. It was way too big for me to eat all of it. I only ate maybe 25% of the burger before I was full and stopped eating.

I don't eat beef so that burger opens a door to burgers that those of us who don't eat beef don't have at most restaurants.

If the cattle association doesn't like losing customers that's just too bad. They need to wake up and realize that people don't want to eat beef all the time and want alternatives.

This product is just filling a need that was ignored for a very long time.

I hope the owners of those beef alternative products make a ton of money.

They're probably incels too, else they would be taking their girlfriends to BK and buying them soy milk.

I tried the impossible whopper, didn't much care for it. Don't know if it was just over cooked like they do with their beef, but I don't plan on ordering another.

Dunkin' Donuts has a Beyond sausage egg and cheese sandwich that is as tasty as real sausage. Also you can get Beyond Burgers and ground beef at many food stores and cook it yourself properly, it will probably taste much better than Burger Kings butchering of the "meat."
Where To Find - Beyond Meat - The Future of Protein™

The simple key is to avoid fast food and limit fried foods. Some meat wo t hurt provided it isn't full of hormones and other non naturals. We eat venison and grass fed free range beef only from a trusted friend who raises his own cattle. It's great to know who is raising it and how.

It's not that new really, I knew small health food stores 30 years ago that carried soy burgers, tempeh burgers, veggie hot dogs, vegan pizza, the works. Of course not the newest products that are available now, but still tasty.

Some stuff started creeping into large grocery stores maybe 20 years ago.

Never misunderestimate the idiocy of the far right!

What's funny is that an idiot presumed those people "far right" even though the article contains nothing to indicate their political views.

Furthermore they were not talking about Beyond Meat in the first place. You just presumed they were because you're an idiot.

FYI, by dry weight, the Impossible Whopper is mostly soy protein concentrate.

Soy protein is not actually food that is fit for human consumption, it's animal fodder.

However soy protein has been getting into our food supply more and more ever since the machine oil industry realized that they could remove the oil from soybeans and then sell the industrial waste to unscrupulous food processors.

No one said the impossible whopper had soy. It was being compared to products that had soy.

If you want to eat vegan burgers then eat vegan burgers. If you don't then don't. Not sure why this has to be a controversy.

Gee, the FAKE NEWS was carried by Faux and western journalism, and hate radio jocks like Michael Savage, who are definitely far Right! No Liberal source was STUPID enough to echo this crap!

No one said the impossible whopper had soy. It was being compared to products that had soy.
I said the Impossible Whopper contained soy, because the main dry ingredient of the patty is soy. It's made from genetically modified concentrated soy protein.

They genetically engineered a new strain of soy they say makes it taste like meat.

Impossible Foods uses genetic engineering to make ingredients that are essential to the taste and texture of its plant-based meat substitute: soy leghemoglobin (also known as heme) and soy protein. Soy protein replaced wheat protein as the main base for Impossible's second recipe, while soy leghemoglobin is responsible for making the patty taste like meat.

These are the 21 ingredients that make an Impossible Burger look and taste like meat

I dunno, I bet it's Soylent Green.

Right wingers? Maybe you didn't read the link you posted. Fox is reporting that some twitter conspiracies claim men would develop breasts. It's mostly left wing vegans who are complaining about the faux-burger but maybe the breast thing will get sissie lefties flocking to Burger King.
