That's genius. Geniuses such as these guys have an impact to the entire world way beyond music, basketball or acting.

There is also the other side of the coin. Depressed mental patient kills himself. The only difference between this story and a mass shooter is the body count, but the media paints a famous person as a victim and never paints the other mental patients as such.

I don't know if I payed much attention to how the media has tossed around the word.


How do you view a craft? Acting really is a craft. It's very easy to spot actors that do not act. They don't change from movie to movie and the script is written around them. Too, there is the luxury of stopping filming for corrections or other such nonsense. Just sit there and look good everyone else will do the work.

How well are the characters developed?
This guy was instrumental in changing the approach. He is also the same guy that the media is currently pooh-poohing.

has shown that type of approach in his craft ('cept some of the cheesy crap but, hey, you gotta eat). Hell, some of the roles that he took on have stories about what it took for him to get into character- like playing a serial killer in the Cell.

He has the power to reinvent himself and do it well every time with whatever he has been handed. Very few character actors can pull that off. If you consider that to be talent then look at some of the work he has done when he has had more control. Is the difference between talent and genius the ability to drum up enough cash?

Robin Williams really was a genius.

Quentin Tarantino has an IQ of 160 and absolutely is a genius. He creates some of the most incredible dialogue ever written. I'm pretty sure that covers all of the bases.
