Real conservatives know Bain is a business not a charity and the bottom line in a business is profit.
Maybe it shouldn't be.
What you call "profit", I call people's lives being upended because someone saw the company they dedicated years to working at as a quick way to make a buck.
Business is not a charity, charity is charity.
Not to mention the fact that Bain wasn't investing in companies that were rock-solid and doing just fine on their own, so those employees' lives were in danger of a much worse upending than they got.
Besides, THEY saw their companies as a way to make a buck. They weren't working there as volunteers.
