What does the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce commissioning it to promote tourism have to do with "the cult of Obama?"

"The Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce will promote the destination with a hospitality venue in uptown Charlotte.

Work on a sand sculpture of President Obama is already underway near Charlotte's EpiCentre to promote the Visit Myrtle Beach campaign." LINK

The artists who did it are these guys: sand sculpture - sand castles
"Sand sculpting team traveling the world carving sculptures to create foot traffic and media attention."

And they did this when the republican debates were going on:

You don't know what 15 tons of sand designed to promote Obama has to do with Obama?

Your own links prove the entire concept is questionable, yet you want to pretend it makes sense because it supposedly wasn't done by someone you idolize.

It's designed to promote tourism to Myrtle Beach.

The idea of marketing to a huge influx of visitors from 150 miles away might seem a wild concept to some, not so much to others.

"The Charlotte market is very important to us in Myrtle Beach. We know that if we can get to Charlotte this easily, folks from Charlotte can get to our shores in just as little time. It's only a short drive across state lines," said Brad Dean, President of the Myrtle Beach Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.

"We're excited to maintain a Myrtle Beach presence in the beautiful city of Charlotte in the coming week and hope everyone in town gets a chance to come see this fantastic sand sculpture."

Oh my, imagine that. The POTUS having a sand sculpture at the convention of the party he represents. The outrage!

Yeah...and before you know it there will be hundred-foot tall murals of Obama's face draping the sides of buildings. For examples of such idol-paintings, see China, Russia, Germany historical pictures of their "leaders".

Obama is nothing more than a super-arrogant, would be dictator that thinks everybody should love his Marxist ass.

He'll have his likeness on American money before he's dead.

Find me a giant sand sculpture of Romney at the RNC and I will mock it the same way way Stewart mocked the ones of the Republican candidates. Does that make me stupid, or does it make you an idiot?
