Itā€™s a Netflix Docuseries about communities throughout the world where people are living ridiculously long life spans. There was a story on one man who lived in America and while here was diagnosed with lung cancer and given 6 months to live. He then moved back to his original homeland to die there. A funny thing happened after that, he had lived to over 100 years old and does a great deal of physical labor everyday

It was an interesting watch but who didnā€™t know eating healthy, being physically active, and finding a purpose in life that brings you enjoyment are keys to a long life?

A lot of people in those communities were physically active, but they didnā€™t kill themselves in the gym like we do here. I also never eaten some of the foods those people eat. And in Italy they eat pasta which was surprising. I thing the key to living a long life is to be around other people that share your interests

He probably stopped eating pre-packaged, processed foods and started eating free-range chickens and grass fed beef. The entire world population would live longer if it stopped consuming preservatives, hormones, processed sugars, and genetically modified "food" (GMOs).

Countries like Canada steal ones purpuse. May those who do so be apropriately judged by G_d.

There is a difference between being physically active throughout the day and going to the gym. Doing work in the morning, walking to the market in the afternoon, followed up by being active in entertainment in the evening is not the same thing as working out for an hour then be mostly sedentary the rest of the day. We in the US donā€™t have a healthcare system that is about living healthy and preventing illnesses , we have a system that wants you to get sick to make as much as possible for treating the illness

A pretty good docuseries. But yes, it is all well known information, but hidden in todays GIANT agri-business world.
FRESH - real vegetables in variety.
In America most vegetables are picked prior to being fully ripe, and the plant has been chosen for yield output not nutritional value.
PLUS - there is no such thing as variety in American grocery produce.
Go to a market in Mexico and you will see at minimum 50+ different kinds of vegetables. America - maybe a dozen. And the same ones over and over.
