Just like the title says, what are the benefits of a multi-party system as opposed to a no-party system?
I, like the idea of no-parties, and here are a few major reasons:
1. Less gridlock.
2. Candidates are free to run on their own platforms as opposed to a party platform.
3. Candidates can be elected for a specific issue, then booted out once they have done their job.
4. Less prejudice and hatred.
5. Politicians can make decisions in Washington faster because each vote would have a ever changing group of supporters, promoting unity and dissolving the aisle barriers, if you will.
6. Candidates can still build reputation before tackling a major office by gaining notoriety locally, then gradually moving up the rungs of authority.
7. No more money is spent on extravagant party conventions.
8. People are no longer expected to be bound by a specific set of doctrines simply because of party affiliations.

I agree with a No party system.

Holy shit Bat Man I agree with that dude that still can't paint his own house........

It must be snowing in hell right now.
