I am also a Paul fan.
I was 11 years old when they were on the Ed Sullivan Show in Feb. 1964.
I was sitting on the floor right up next to the T.V.
When they did a close up of Paul, I put my hand up to touch him and he ducked his head.
My Mom laughed and said "Why, it's almost like he could see you though the T.V."
