i'm surprised no one has mentioned the fact that income and wealth are two seperate issues here, or quintle mobility, etc
one could even conject 'who owns America' , being power and wealth are almost always have political connected, and subsequent ramifications on any given populace.
anywhere there's a top heavy echelon, the middle class is usually subject to it's doctrine
the plain and simple truth being that it's human nauture once on top to stay there
of course i address these issues because i am a capitalist, and plainly can see it's damage , if not demise, to the very same factions historically seen in any given social order and/or governance....
