i'm surprised no one has mentioned the fact that income and wealth are two seperate issues here, or quintle mobility, etc

one could even conject 'who owns America' , being power and wealth are almost always have political connected, and subsequent ramifications on any given populace.

anywhere there's a top heavy echelon, the middle class is usually subject to it's doctrine

the plain and simple truth being that it's human nauture once on top to stay there

of course i address these issues because i am a capitalist, and plainly can see it's damage , if not demise, to the very same factions historically seen in any given social order and/or governance....

Whenever the socialists start comparing income inequality to other countries, I have to ask "Do their poor people own TVs, computers, and hundred dollar sneakers?" I know lots of people on public assistance. I wouldn't call any of them poor. In fact if I did, they might shoot me.

Welfare was designed as a temporary hand up for people who fall on hard times.

Yes and that's what it is, too. Welfare resoprm, ya know? 5 year maxium and harder than hell to qualify for.

Ask the superwealthy to start paying the same percentages they used to pay.

we do have an enormous sense of entitlement as Americans

there's a good argument as to the level of social engineering the market has foisted on us ' i.e.- keep up with the Jone's '

but methinks the q you really ellude to is....

does the responsiblity for a decent middle class lifestyle fall on a capitalist government to protect?

a further arguement might be that it does, at least in terms of the very base greedy elites need to stay on top, least we figure out they taste like chicken eh....?

Speaking of one-percenters, the report shows "strong support from Wall Street," that same evil institutions the Clintons have sworn to put asunder. (Maybe under contract, that is.)

The report is very detailed and includes several revealing graphics, like the one showing "Hillary's six-day money dash" tour of the United States, where she was able to raise over $4 million. Check it out here.

The best part? The Clintons declined to be interviewed for the article. But, really, what difference at this point would it make?
