Texas welcomes nuclear waste, but not children running from danger

I love it when right wingers call me a liar. It give me the chance to give them more of this:

bitch-slap-o.gif

Maybe that's why they do it. Because they know it's coming.

^^^^^^the closest rderp has ever come to slapping a man. If he tried that in real life is ass would get knocked the fuck out.

The problem with folks like rdean that cry for those kids are the ones that have no intention of giving a DIME for their upkeep, nor their town overridden with them, nor his kids put at risk with their presence.

A bigger problem for people like rdean is the fact that they believe people are children until they are 26

Why tell this lie over and over?

I don't know of anyone on this board who thinks people are children at the age of 26.

Well, okay, there's TemplarKnight but he's a tee potty/anarchist/libertarian video gamer so he doesn't count.

It's not a lie lud. if you don't believe it, why do you support legislation that defines children as people up to the age of 26?

If these children all made vow to vote Republican when they came of age, the OP would be demanding these kids be shackled and perp-marched back to where they came from.

Not true. I'm not in to death and suffering.

But you are into the taxpayers of America getting hosed to pay for kids who are from somewhere else.

Those kids should be booted back to wherever the hell they came from.

Nuclear Waste Storage on Texas Lawmakers' Agenda | The Texas Tribune

Texas, with its ample space and arid climate, could be an ideal home for the nation’s nuclear waste, some observers say.

“You’ve got a large state with so much potential,” said Brian O’Connell, director of the Nuclear Waste Program for the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners from 1999 to 2013. “You’ve got lots of wide-open spaces.”

Since 2012, Waste Control Specialists in Andrews County, a company that was formally owned by the late Dallas billionaire Harold Simmons, has disposed of contaminated tools, building materials and protective clothing, among other items, from shuttered reactors and hospitals.

Perry Sending Guard Troops to the Border | The Texas Tribune

Absent a federal activation, Perry said he acted on his own, meaning that Texans will pick up the $12-million-a-month tab authorities say the deployment will cost.

That ongoing state police operation is estimated to cost about $5 million a month, so Texas could be spending $17 million or more per month for border security when the operation is in full swing. House Speaker Joe Straus, R-San Antonio, said the Legislature will mull how to pay for the increased border presence as costs continue to escalate.

The young immigrants generally turn themselves in to authorities and are later released pending adjudication in the courts, which sometimes takes years.

“We think that they will come to us and say please take us to a Border Patrol station,” Nichols said.

So Rick Perry is sending the National Guard to be an "escort"? That's the plan?

In the meantime, Texas "glows" not long after business "explodes".

I must say, I really like the way those people think. I'm sure a radioactive Texas unfriendly to children in danger will "lure" lots and lots of skilled workers.

How come those "children" look so different than pictures from Breitbart?

Why not just kill them? Perhaps if you ask, you can help.

The one in the gangs didn't bother to check in at the shelter you tool

It's not a lie, it's a stupid and misleading lie.

Ignorant Republicans may provide the unskilled labor if you can get them to work, but it's the educated who develop technology and "design" and do research. You can't do those things without school. If parents can keep their children on their insurance while this kids continue their education, it's good for the country.

Even you know that. You've always known it. But for some reason you want people to think you are a moron. Why? I don't know. Perhaps, for just a minute, you could be honest and tell us why that is.

Don't have to. Just send em back.

Unlike you I'm not magnanimous with other peoples money and I could give shit one about some kids from another country.

They have no business in America and we taxpayers shouldn't have to pony up one dime for these kids.

Send em back to wherever the hell they came from and let those countries take care of their citizens. Its not the responsibility of the US to pay for every kid in the world nor should it be.

So we don't want to waste resources and taxpayer dollars going in for a period of time to help establish democracy in other countries, "nation build" as the left calls it. However, we are willing to throw taxpayer dollars to house ... feed ... educate ... give government assistance .. to support the children of other countries for as long as they want to stay here.

If Obama feels we as Americans should be "compassionate" and pick up the mantle of some humanitarian cause, why don't we drop them off at the front door of the White House? I am sure there is plenty of room there to house them. Let's allow this president the opportunity to lead by example for others to follow.

How long is a period of time? 10 years? More? How did that work out in Iraq? We gave them help whether they wanted it or not. Nice.

Never stopped you from killing a baby you didn't want born

Piece of shit. Accusing me of murder.

He is right you are a huge POS :D

Only proves my point about Republicans being a dirty people. They claim to protect babies, but want to send these children back into a situation that for many would be certain death. Can you be any more dirty. Jesus wouldn't approve. If he ever came back, he would smite the GOP for daring to claim to be the party of God.
