I'm testing the Chromium web browser, the open source one Google Chrome is built on but without the Google tracker codes. The same extensions (add ons) that I use that run with Firefox also run with Chromium which is a major plus and what I'm seeing right now is this browser is FAST!!!!! I'll have to check it out on my XP and Pista machines to see how it works with Windows.

I'm running it under Vector. It flies.

If the OS is as light, secure and fast as the browser they'll have a winner on their hands.

I also use it. What I still did not figure out is, how I can bookmark a tab.
I can only bookmark all open tabs.

From what I've read it works inside what's called a "sandbox". Supposedly any outside code that is sent to the sandbox (a virus, etc) is trapped inside the sandbox and can't be written to any applications or root functions in your computer. When you close the browser the code in the sandbox simply goes bye-bye.
Currently I have not been able to effectively install it in XP, probably requires some geekie knowledge I don't yet possess. I was able to install it, kinda of, but it would not install in an executable path that is recognized by the computer. There's probably a how-to somewhere in Wiki-links.
There is another one based on the Chromium kernel called Comodo Dragon that seem to be a very popular alternative to Google Chrome.
