Tax/Unemployment Deal A Win/Win For Republicans...

Politically speaking,this deal is definitely a Win/Win for the Republicans. However it's not so much of a Win for this President. The hardcore Left are now revolting against him. The Republicans got what they wanted in the end. The Unemployment Benefits were going to be extended anyway. The Republicans did not want to be painted as the evil ogre in opposing this extension. The MSM just loves to paint the Republicans as the Bad Guy and the Republicans know this. Now that can't happen. So strictly politically speaking,the Republicans scored a big Win on this one. Is it a Win/Win for the Country though? I guess you'll have to decide that for yourself.

Btw,if the Democrats hate this deal so much,why don't they just vote it down? They have all the power and numbers in Congress. Why would they vote for something they supposedly despise so much? Something else to ponder i guess.
