For over a year Mr Romney has articulated his beliefs and ideas on Governance, Economy, and a host of political conscripts. Then in one evening he comes before those who share those beliefs, and those who dont, and presents totally different opinions relative to his previously stated beliefs and approaches.

I am not sure what this says about Mr Romney, but more importantly, what does it say about Us as a people?

I understand that many people here will turn this question into an assault on me or some one else. I just dont understand how we as American people can tolerate and justify such inconsistency regardless of our political beliefs or the ideas we find ourselves supporting.

This question speaks from a higher principal of principals. How can such a thing be applauded, accepted and rewarded?
