Student Stasi at University of Sheffield
The University of Sheffield is recruiting a paid student Stasi to suppress “microaggressions,” defined as “subtle but offensive comments” that transgress against political correctness.

The student thought police have to undergo indoctrination:

They will be trained to “lead healthy conversations” about preventing racism on campus and in student accommodation. …

The students will be paid £9.34 [US $12.15] per hour as “race equality champions”, working between two and nine hours per week to tackle “microaggressions” in the university.

Examples of microaggressions include:

• “Stop making everything a race issue”

• “Why are you searching for things to be offended about?”

If students learn one thing at University of Sheffield, it will be that it is racist not to be obsessed with race.

Breitbart has more:

One of the student spymasters, a Malaysian girl called Santhana Gopalakrishnan, has written a piece for a left-wing freesheet explaining that there is nothing sinister or oppressive about this.

Santhana offers other examples of microaggressions, such as complementing foreigners on speaking good English.

Since you never know what might qualify as thoughtcrime in ideologically rigid totalitarian systems such as communist police states and modern universities, it is wise to limit all conversation to reciting current leftist talking points as spoon-fed by the media.
