The economy in Ontario was already getting rag dolled thanks to the Usual Suspects, even before this pandemic. As America slowly opens (Canadas main economic hubs, as weak as they have been, are going to be closed for longer, maybe even much longer), there is a serious risk in my opinion of U.S companies taking market share.

Not that Canadian businesses are efficient or innovative, they aren't, and America generally already has many of our most ambitious and talented citizens working in the U.S and crushing Canadian businesses, however, even if these companies only lose 10% of their market, it's irreversible. Coupled with a couple of months behind in the business cycle, this is going to sting even more.

The Communists really did a number on the world. In an already economically fragile, weak, civil liberty challenged nation like Canada, this is going to be even more devastating.
