SpaceX Starlink satellites. Seems 1560, 12K or 42K of these overhead will make you dizzy at night looking to the stars.

The start night sky. If there are 12,000 of them, at what point do they block out the stars?

More

As of 22 April 2020, SpaceX has launched 422 Starlink satellites. They plan to launch 60 more per Falcon 9 flight, with launches as often as every two weeks in 2020. In total, nearly 12,000 satellites are planned to be deployed, with a possible later extension to 42,000.[54] The initial 12,000 satellites are planned to orbit in three orbital shells: first placing approximately 1,584 in a 550 kilometres (340 mi) altitude shell, then approximately 2,825 Ku-band and Ka-band spectrum satellites at 1,110 km (690 mi), and approximately 7,500 V-band satellites at 340 kilometres (210 mi).[33]

Now, look at us diving underground when the shy satellites do this in the movie below.

:cheers2: Can't wait to see the sky explode one night.

I am fairly certain I saw a string of them one night. Was more like a long line of planes than anything that would ruin the skies.

Starlink satellites can move with their own engine power. So that seems to be safer to avoid crashes. But, imagine a debris chain reaction like in gravity.

"
Space Debris and Human Spacecraft
More than 500,000 pieces of debris, or “space junk,” are tracked as they orbit the Earth. They all travel at speeds up to 17,500 mph, fast enough for a relatively small piece of orbital debris to damage a satellite or a spacecraft."

Say these 500k in space junk start exploding after hitting one another. Say each break into 20 pieces x 500,000, then those 10, 000,000 break into 20 more. It can't stop.
Bye, bye space exploration as we can't get through the Space Juck shield overhead. LOL! In a way Musk in protecting the universe from us going out and seed planet
with our shit here on eath.

Planes are not reflecting sunlight, from being in orbit,

This is the map of the 1500 starter.

So when some 12,000 to 42,000 are up there. It will just make you dizzy looking into the night sky at the star.

There are 500,000 pieces of space junk, most of which is 10cm in size or less.

There 10 Trillion square kilometres of space in Low Eath Orbit... more than 20,000 times the total area of the earth's surface.

Imagine the earth with only half a million pieces of litter spread across the entire planet... then imagine the earth is 20,000 times larger than it is.

We all will profit from high bandwidths in the Sahara.

Other than Musk is doing it, I am fine with the system. I. Hate. Elon.
Sooner or later his satellites will turn into observation devices.

When the CIA Google buys them they will be. Until then, I will just hate them because of the current owner.

In the Musky plan. He needs to get a transmitter/receiver antenna into the people's hands who have no power, cells, laptops etc.
AND FFS! NO MONEY! Well, I guess they can sell a kid or goat to get online. Did I mention, most can't read and write.

Btw. This is a funny device.

Starlink SLR5550HD-R2 Wireless Receiver

Call for pricing. LOL! You know when they ask you to call to get a price,
It's will be way out of the range you want to pay.
