    So why are people now excited about not only having a lobbyist as the GOP nominee, but a lobbyist who expects his base to swallow the explanation that he was hired because Freddie Mac saw a need for a historian?

    It's his story and he can tell it anyway he wants to. Same way Mitt tells his stories.
