I don't normally post stuff from this site but I couldn't pass this up. I totally agree. Give it a break, CNN! There IS more news to cover than that.

CNN has either adopted MSNBC's "Damn the Ratings and Revenue" business model, or the ratings are telling them some, enough, folks are still tuning in to hear what they've got to say.

Hey, they don't call 'em low information for nothing.

No surprise that Stephen King cares about CNN. He is such a left winger that I almost put down his latest novel "Dr. Sleep". His rants about Reagan and Bush were such unnecessary knee jerk reflexes that I thought he might have had some brain damage after his accident. Anyway if CNN can make a buck by dwelling on a missing plane I say go for it.

I don't think I've ever seen anything like this.

Remember when ABC created Nightline ? It started out as a show 100% dedicated to the Iran hostage crisis. They would come on the air, and it would start with: "Day 29 of the hostage crisis" "Day 42" etc etc.

Anyway, I'm surprised CNN hasn't just gone ahead and given the missing plane an official show.

Watching the CNN morning show, and they just finished another segment on it.
Absolutely an amazing obsession.
