Is it their money to give away as they see fit? Legally I guess it is.
Do they owe an attitude of stewardship to those who provide the funds on which they live? Should such an attitude lead them to carefully budget for essentials and leave none for discretionary spending like tithing?
Or is more correct that tithing itself is essential, and not discretionary?
