Shit, they're already settled in and probably don't vote anyhow. Why help them? There's not political gain to be had, so screw 'em.
When I visited Waikiki earlier this year, many greenswards and a lot of the green spaces between sidewalk and street were populated by tent cities. Do they send many illegals to Waikiki? Or these indigenous homeless who can no longer afford the over-inflated rents?
