We have a Constitutional right to trial by jury for serious crimes, usually involving anything that could land us in prison.

Hell you can request a jury trial for a traffic ticket appeal in just about every state.

IT is obvious why this corrupt judge decided to not allow Joe a jury; he would have gotten off.

When a judge has an order on you and you break it it is called contempt of court, in which after the judge had decided you are guilty, you can stand trial by appealing the decision.....
