Too bad IMAX wasn't common in 1973 for the Belmont Stakes.
When none is on TV or fouling up the local traffic because of a game.
I've not been able to find it anywhere online, but I'm an outfielder my whole life and Dave Parker in the 1979 ALL Star Game is the pinnacle for me.

It wasn't the greatest but I think the coolest thing I ever saw in person is when the Mariners clinched the american league west right after 9/11. It was one of the first games after the attacks since they cancelled sporting events for a week or something. At the end of the game they brought out the flag and sang God Bless America. It was pretty cool to be at the game and see it live.

the winning touchdown in the lsu vs florida game when lsu went for in fourth down and converted on everyone. that game was one of the best football games ever played
