Too bad IMAX wasn't common in 1973 for the Belmont Stakes.

I've not been able to find it anywhere online, but I'm an outfielder my whole life and Dave Parker in the 1979 ALL Star Game is the pinnacle for me.

Giants beat the Pats 17-14 in Super Bowl XLII

Undefeated Pats score go ahead touchdown and prepare for immortality. Eli Manning leads them on an 83 yard drive with 2:43 left.

Pats have Eli dead to rights for a huge sack on third down, Eli breaks free and finds David Tyree who pulls it down while pinning it to his helmet. Then a fade route to Plaxico for the win

It wasn't the greatest but I think the coolest thing I ever saw in person is when the Mariners clinched the american league west right after 9/11. It was one of the first games after the attacks since they cancelled sporting events for a week or something. At the end of the game they brought out the flag and sang God Bless America. It was pretty cool to be at the game and see it live. :)
