1901: The U.S. Navy called flight a “vain fantasy”

1955: Space travel is “utter bilge”

Always listen to the ‘experts’. Shame there’s so few jobs left in science now that so many things are settled.

In 1492, it was settled science that the world was flat and Columbus could expect to fall off the edge.

No wonder why Libs want to cancel Columbus, he's a "science denier".

False. The understanding that the Earth is spherical was arguably embellished as early as the Third Century BC. By the end of the Fifth Century it was a universally accepted fact.

The children's Columbus song is historically misleading.

May have been. But, in 1492, the civilized world thought it to be flat.

Is this some kind of bizarre religious nutter attempt to cast doubt on all science? The OP forgot to make any points.

Those were the climate change hoaxsters of their day. The Al Gores, the Greta Thunbergs. The Bill Gates'.

LOL

Earth is the center of the universe.
On the back of a turtle.

No further investigations required, science is settled.
Interestingly enough. Earth is, indeed, the center of the universe, for the human race. Wherever an observer is is the center of that observer's universe.

Do I get a dollar in my PayPal for every ‘science is settled’ quote from you Leftards?
Sure, but you will need a few 100 million of them to substantiate your childish, stupid choice of words. Try to use your big boy words to refine your point a little bit.
