He is also Chairman of the Senate Committee on Armed Services and a member of a number of other committees. He is also one the most highly regarded members of the Senate and is respected on both sides of the aisle. Making an enemy of McCain and a half dozen other leaders in the Senate has to be one of stupidest things Trump has done.

Now Conservatives want to repeat the failure again nationally, learning nothing from the failure of the Bush Tax Cuts either.

Irrational? Far from it. For McCain to support a tax bill would be irrational. He opposed the Bush's tax bill and has been slow to endorse any tax proposals. However, let's set things straight. It's not just McCain Trump has to be concerned about. There's Bob Corker, Rand Paul, Pat Toomey, Orrin Hatch, and Susan Collins. Couple this with the fact that the bill is far from ready to go into law and it all must be completed by the end of year. A tax cut for the wealthy seems unlikely this year.

Isn't it exciting?! Honestly, I never expected it, not at all - and not from the polls and shit, just because I felt like too many had lost their "Americanism." ...Even if Trump can't do everything that needs to be done because the shit is too deep to wade though, I'm happy to see the American spirit is still alive and well.

I'm guilty of giving up on it, ya know... I figured if that [socialism, communism, "hatred" and thievery of the wealthy] was what the American people wanted then so be it, "I have to leave." I can do little more than greatly respect, and be a bit in awe, of those stubborn American's who refused to give up on the foundation (like I did.) I'm too damned logical, I don't have the "heart" to fight like they do so I can only salute them, thank them, and stand behind their courage and refusal to give up. Hope they make it, for me, my kids, my grandkids - because I'm not "faithful" enough to do that... /respect to our "soldiers" who keep me and mine safe - politically and militarily...
