Selfish Donald Trump
Donald Trump is a selfish man who wants to put his selfishness to the benefit of America. He has built his empire of wealth by taking and keeping for himself, even using untoward methods: he has declared bankruptcies a strange number of times that would seem unusually frequent for one man. But as you can actually gain money by loosing money in America, the Donald could have played smart to exploit the system. Yes, beating the fiscal system in America is an industry of its own. With tax laws much more complicated than the Talmud and citizens showing no less zeal to find ways of escaping its tenets.

Thus the Donald sees the American predicament through his highly practiced selfish lenses. A country cheated in trade agreements and being raped by illegal immigrants. He is sure he could get a better deal for America as simply as you feel when your child shows you what she eventually bought with the money you gave him/her. You're so sure you could have paid less for same or bought more for the money. This is Donald Trump and America.

He thinks America has lost and is still loosing its manufacturing sector to other countries. It is debatable whether it is a loosing or a voluntary giving up so as to move to more profitable sectors. After all silicon valley did not exist in the height of American manufacturing. Microsoft, Google, Apple, etc were not in existence then and investment may simply have shifted into this new sector and others.

Yet when you see Americans sleeping in the streets in the chill of winter, and Americans not able to go to college because of the fees and young people with business men's debts just because they went to college, and their country is the Father Christmas of the world, it is clear that somebody is foolish somewhere and some prudent selfishness is required. America certainly looses competitiveness when it closes its coal power plants and China still burns coal. She may get ahead and make up by expanding green energy sectors. But this is the controversy. People loose dirty jobs others gain clean jobs.

However it may be I think America needs a little selfishness. But if Trumps foolishness exceeds his selfishness America may be the worse for it. Like if he starts a nuclear arms raise and wastes resources on armaments that end up decommissioned without ever being used and another round of defense expenditure undertaken to develop new fancy toys when the children cannot go to college and the parents sleep in streets.

The good thing about it all is that the American president is very weak and Trump could not, and I say now, will not be able to change the system much. The American president is seriously checked by congress, which can actually paralyze government if they choose. And after two centuries years the American aristocracy has plateaued in performance and there is not much tweeking anyone can do. It is an aristocracy because the president is elected by an elite college of electors who are chosen by an ignorant masses whom the constitution assumes know no better. Thus a person can loose an election by 3 million popular votes and still be elected president by the aristocratic college. America itself cannot tolerate this aberration in another country.

Yet the system may have worked good this time to throw up a wild card president whose selfishness could make America great again.

What a propaganda piece... did you write it yourself?

The ministry of truth could use you.

Next time, you may want to not project your flawed attributes publicly for all of us to see, and especially not on high caliber achievers like Trump.

Trump is like a dog chasing a car. He finally caught it, but doesn't have the slightest idea what to do with it.

So you're saying we should use our old nukes before we build some new ones?!

:ack-1:

I neither hate nor like Trump. The piece was just to take a look at the psychology of his presidential ambition.
