The House & Senate are ripe for plucking in 2014. When you look at how the same tired old Republican gurus like Karl Rove are standing pat on a losing hand, I don’t see how Tea Party conservatives can miss picking up seats in the House and taking control of the Senate. Tea Partiers cannot miss so long as they do NOT waste time, energy, and resources looking for a presidential candidate in 2016. Establishment Republicans and the media still have the clout to pick the ticket. To be accurate the media still has enough clout to eliminate any wannabe they don’t want. That’s why Republicans like Marco Rubio are jockeying for position on issues like amnesty. He need not worry. The media wants him on the Republican ticket in 2016.
I’m happy to see that Ann Coulter is not fawning all over Rubio the way she does with another Republican party loser —— Chris Christie.
Talking about amnesty for illegal aliens Ann puts it this way:
Marco Rubio obviously fell in with a bad lot on immigration. For a guy who is supposed to be so bright, I cannot understand why he became one of the New Gang of Eight? It’s bad enough that he lined up with a loser like John McCain, but there is no excuse for partnering with guys like Upchuck Schumer, Dirty Dick Durbin, and “Hookers” Menendez on the immigration issue.
Remember when McCain teamed up on amnesty with that paragon of virtue Ted Kennedy. They developed a plan for immigration “reform” they said wasn’t amnesty when clearly it was. Kennedy has since shuffled off to places unknown. That isn’t stopping McCain from having another go at the same old crap. The justification for amnesty seems to be that Republicans are losing Hispanic voters. McCain never explained how Republicans can lose a voting bloc they never had.
And why in hell would Upchuck, Dirty Dick, Hookers Menendez, or any Democrat help Republicans win over Hispanic voters?

Mark Twain famously said “The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.” That is an apt quote for Tea Partiers.
Democrat and Republicans always saw the Tea Party Movement as the Frankenstein monster. Happily, the “monster” is alive and terrorizing both parties.
Those who wrote Tea Party obituaries crowed “national ambitions” were buried with the corpse. Presumably, they meant presidential ambitions. I won’t argue for presidential aspirations, but I’m here to tell you the Tea Party Movement is in a position to do some serious ass-kicking.
Unemployment, raising the debt ceiling again and again, taxes, repealing Obamacare, and the global warming scam when taken in the aggregate will bury the disparate voting blocs the Democrat party needs to win House and Senate seats. Add amnesty and gun control fraud to the total picture and you will see an awful lot of animation in a “dead” Tea Party Movement.
I’m not claiming liberals will lose every seat. I’m saying racial politics, class warfare, the politics of hate, divide and rule will not work everywhere for Democrats as they did in the past. The parasite class, voting blocs in a few congressional districts, and even Senate seats in liberal states like California, NY, Massachusetts, etc. will keep Socialists in the game —— at least until the tax on income is repealed. That happy event has to remain at the top of the list of “Things to do” until Tea Party conservatives are solidly entrenched. Then, and only then, should Tea Partiers start getting serious about taking the White House. In the normal course of events president material will have emerged based on track records in state governments and Congress.
NOTE: It was the Republican party that failed to win the Senate in 2012. I firmly believe party decision makers did not want the Senate. In fact, Karl Rove is back on FOX spouting the crap that lost Senate seats. The way it is now bipartisan legislation will implement welfare state objectives while Democrats take the blame. If Republicans had both Houses of Congress they would get blamed for doing the same things Hussein is going to do.
Finally, Sarah Palin parted company with FOX News. From the day she signed on with FOX, I said the association was not good for her or for conservatism. Her time as a FOX contributor did nothing to advance conservative ideals. In fact, she was doing a lot better for the Tea Party Movement before she hooked up with FOX. Bottom line: It was a marriage separated in heaven.

Step One of Marco Rubio’s plan is: Grant illegal aliens the right to live and work in America legally. (Rubio’s first move in poker: Fold.)
