Santorum: Romneycare a 'Real Scarlet Letter'



Former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum said Sunday that Mitt Romney's backing for "Romneycare" -- the Masschusetts healthcare plan that was a model for Obamacare -- should disqualify him from being the GOP nominee for president.

Santorum, a strong Catholic, believes that what Jesus said in the Bible needs to be applied to the United States. (The Poor will always be with you.)

Rick believes that there is no need to provide basis health care for the poor as God will take care of them. At least I think that is what he means.

Can't support Santorum, but ...

If Republicans are serious in their opposition to the individual mandate, and PPACA, nominating Romney is foolish. He's the candidate least likely to do anything about it.
