That's amazing. The first time in history anyone is going under the Ice in the North Pole. That has got to be scary. I am way to clostraphobic to go in a military Submarine let alone those small research ones. I had a hard time touring the Submarine they turned into a Museum at Pear Harbor.

Not the first time anyone went under the ice at teh North Pole. Subs have been doing that since the late 50s. Check out the history of the USS Nautilus (the first US nuclear powered sub) or this book:

This means less than nothing. If simply planting a fag was significant, then Norway would already own the South Pole and America would own the Moon. One of our subs should shoot some waste out of a torpedo tube at the Russian North Pole flag.
