IOW, you only have unsubstantiated speculative drivel to offer.

Plus, I see that you completely deflected from the argument at hand: That lack of screening was not the main problem behind 9/11. In fact, the 9/11 Commission clearly states the three main problems behind 9/11 and lack of screening was not one of them.

The three main reasons behind 9/11 were nation building and a military presence in Saudi Arabia which they considered Holy Lands, our sanctions on Iraq that wrecked havoc and led to the death of a half a million children, and our unabashed aid Israel.

If Ron Paul was in charge, none of those incentives would have taken place, and therefore 9/11 would have never occurred.

So you believe (as does Mr Clarke) that we should have put all the things we did after 9-11 into effect prior to 9-11.

And The people would have screamed for an impeachment. There was nothing concrete enough to cause us to prepare for War in Afghanistan as Mr Clarke wanted to, There was not sufficient evidence that there would be an attack of such a massive scale at all. Unless of course you use hindsight. That makes all the answers easy.

I could just see what would have happened (with all the complaints we hear about the TSA today) if we would have beefed up security without the 9-11 attacks...

If soldiers don't believe in the cause that they are risking their lives for, then there is a fundamental problem. Perhaps, invading and starting a war a with a country that posed no threat to us, based off of fabrications and manipulations has something to do with it.

In addition, the old and the established have proven that they are inept at running this country and a war. Heck, it has taken a decade to get Iraq "under a control" and establish a "freedom loving Western Democracy" all while piling on a huge debt combined with unnecessary lives lost. If you were so experienced and knowledgeable, then why does it take so many lives, resources, and time to conquer a backward country that posed no threat to us?

The young are getting delusionalled with the old and established, and your self-aggrandizing and pontification is not helping, but exacerbating this disillusionment.
