Ron Paul Calls For March On Washington DC

Congressman Ron Paul has called on his supporters to organize a march on Washington DC, admitting that such a move would be “risky” but impossible for the media to ignore and could have a big impact on the eve of the Republican convention.

In a campaign update posted on You Tube last night, the Texan outlined his thinking behind the plan.

“One of the projects that I’ve been working on in my mind and in my head that I want to share with you….we ought to make a grand display, we ought to have a true march to show what our numbers are,” said Paul, adding that such a move would be “risky”.

But aren't his numbers pretty small, like 5%-7% of those in the GOP?

Yes they are, you are right. However, this is the time, the time is now. The American people ALL must be woke up and informed. We must stand together and take back our country or we will all surely die at the hands of our govt.
Do you realise that we do not really have freedom of speach anymore, that the 1st amendment has ben abolished according to all the new laws and acts that have been enacted? Did youy know that according to our new American laws, I could be thrown in prison and executed for writing this comment? It is absolutely true! The laws are being changed this way for a reason and it is not to go chase some sick fuck in a cave 12000 miles away. Look at all the cameras. Look at the micro chips comming out, Look at the optic scanners and surveilence going on everywhere. Do you really want the govt having all your info including where you go on any normal day and when and why along with your optic print, thumb print, signiture, ssn, facial features, the way you walk ETC...? If someone steals your identity through your ssn and or credit card, you can always get another credit card. If someone steals your optic print, you can't get a new eyeball!!!!

Then consider me a friend, who respects you.

Thanks man...I have no doubt that islamic extremists and Iranian terror camps want all us Americans dead. I believe that to the bone. The fact is since the Bush admin. we have alot more enemies than ever before. I am not saying that there aren't terrorist organizations dead set on killing all of us if given the chance. I just don't think they are as organized as most people think. Just because some group or another wants to plot and do something to us doesn't mean he or they have the power, money, contacts,,,etc to carry it out. If I hated someone bad enough to want to kill them and throw my life away over it, I couldn't just pack up s suitcase and fly to Iran and hunt them down and find them and plot and plan and execute it. There is no way...For most people such an idea is absurd and couldn't ever be pulled off. Hell, most people can't read a map or even find the U.S. on a map of the world.

do you atleast acknowledge their are muslims out there that want to kill us?

SO WHAT.....................>?:eusa_think:

oOh I see, sooooooo...............let's let as many of them in here as possible and that will cure it..............that's what members of our dumbassed gubment want to do...............they want to take in all the refugees............oh yes I see that as very plausible FOR SELF INILATION!!!!!!!!!:eusa_wall:

WAH I lost so lets throw a temper tantrum and march on DC. WAH look at me, damn it LOOK at me.

I say have the march, lets see how many actually show up. Then lets card them and see if they are registered republicans and break them down by State so we can prove that he LOST.

What? Prove your mentally unstable? You do that here on a daily basis, nothing new in that.

He LOST. Banana Republics throw temper tantrums when they lose , we shouldn't. Further he knew going in he was gonna lose. It is all about HIM getting face time.

The battlegrounds of the American Revolution were the streets of colonial America's cities, the common areas of her hamlets and the countryside between these settlements. Smoke filled the air of such battles. Gun powder flashed and reports echoed through the forests, hills and mountains of the east. Blood flowed from damaged bodies and the gore was repugnant, but the Americans grit their teeth and struggled through it with a sense of purpose in their hearts and a certainty that eventually they would prevail. The battlegrounds of the Ron Paul revolution are much the same, but the fighting looks much different. Marchers gather in groups with their signs held high and congregate in public areas to show their solidarity in support. Bloggers and those who post to Youtube the videos the mainstream media refuses to show work tirelessly to spread the word in the cyber world. Freedom radio talk shows and alternative media discuss Dr. Paul's ideas and explain how they work to those who are unfamiliar with the true nature of such concepts. Detractors and most mainstream media ignore Ron Paul and his supporters, label them with uncouth names or spew forth falsehoods and half-truths to try to keep Ron Paul's message under wraps and the damage he does to the status quo candidates held to a minimum. Ron Paul and his supporters struggle through these barriers with a sense of purpose and a certainty that eventually they will prevail. No blood will be spilled in this revolution, but tired old concepts of socialism and big government will be exposed as the corrupt influences they are and the body politic of the country will be bled of such infections.

The American Revolution began with an idea, the idea that the people of the United States could dismiss the protection of the most powerful nation in the world at the time and take care of themselves in spite of the dangers surrounding the fledgling nation. They had this idea that they could free themselves from a tyrannical government and then govern themselves. The Ron Paul revolution believes in these ideas and wishes to expound upon them. These ideas can still work in this modern era as they did in the late 18th century. In fact, I believe they can work better. Given the chance, we, the people of the United States of America can take care of ourselves without the help of the huge bureaucracy that is the federal government. We can restore our freedom and allow the marketplace instead of the government to work to fulfill the needs of the public. There's a lot of work to do before this can become reality.
