Okay, first of all, whether or not it's right or wrong to judge someone based on the above-mentioned criteria depends on WHAT you are judging about them. Can I judge whether or not you're a good typist from your posts? Of course. Can I judge your education levels from your grammar and spelling? Sure. Can I judge how in-depth your knowledge of regional issues is based on where you're from? Probably. Can I judge what sort of person you are by the thoughts and opinions you express? How ELSE do you judge such things, if not by words and actions?

Second of all, what does any of that have to do with socialism? Right now, I am judging you as someone who has no idea what the word "socialism" means, based on your misuse of it. See how it works?

You know.......you have to judge things all the time to determine if they are right for you. What is good for me, may not be right for someone else, because they don't do what I do.

That is the proper way to judge things. The place where it gets messed up is when someone who has had trouble with something (say......alcohol addiction or cigarettes), reforms themselves, and then tells everyone else that they have to do so as well.
