• Rocxanne Deschamps, who was briefly caretaker for Florida school shooter Nikolas Cruz, has filed court papers seeking control over his inheritance

• The estate of his mother, the late Lynda Cruz, is believed to be worth $800,000

• The papers were filed one day after the shooter slaughtered 17 victims and injured 15 others at Marjory Douglas Stoneman High School on Valentine's Day

• Deschamps took in the school shooter and his brother after their mother died from pneumonia on November 1, but kthe shooter moved out in January

This was the lady whose home he first lived in. The one interviewed was the current one.

Really does sound like a money grabber, the first.

And interestingly his brother is now in an psychiatric care facility, involuntarily, whom still lived with this lady. He turns 18 shortly, though and can discharge himself.

Thing is.......with Nikolas in prison and the younger brother 'determined' mentally unfit.........she as caretaker could possibly get the whole amount.

PS..........I'd bet a nickel, the younger brother didn't say he'd finish the job, but was the excuse to have him examined in the first place

To me if that boy's mom has any siblings or parents who are still here, they should be the ones who get ownership of her assets.
