    This election-year B.S. ploy might get through the House, but it won't get through the Senate. There's a reason why they waited until the very end of the session to put this crap out there. It's because they don't really want it to pass. They want it to fail so they blame the Democrats for the failure. It's a big fat trap. The GOP thinks the American people are stupid. I just hope they are wrong.

    I wish conservatives in washington would stop taking over issues that belong to the states (more like local counties, really)

    There must be at least 10 million poor children.

    $100 million divided by 10 million is ten lousy dollars
    per child.
