Polls have long shown that both Republicans and Democrats love solar power. Everyone loves solar (okay, nearly everyone). But it’s one thing to say you support something and another thing to put that thing on your roof, right?

Stupidest thing the government ever did was throw tax dollars at solar. What a waste. It was a waste when Carter did it in the 70s, and 40 years later, it is still a waste. Obama could be feeding the poor with that money instead of giving it to the rich.

I've never known anybody Republican, or what ever, who disliked solar power. I do, however, know plenty of people who have a problem with it receiving wasteful government subsidies, which is a completely different discussion.

How do you expect to have an honest conversation about this when you can't even be honest in your premise?
