As for attacking the middle class, the only party actively seeking to keep the dividend tax where it is (13% or eliminate it all together) are the republicans so investor's income is taxed much lower (or not at all) than the income gained through doing actual work.

This was just one of the many reasons why Romney didn't stand a chance.

If you want to really look at a failed program, lets look at Republican trickle down economics and its failure to help the poor. That was Republican poverty programs in action. Give more money to the rich and watch it trickle down
