I wasn't sure what forum to put this in. I hope it's ok here. I just read his obit at the Guardian.

Geeze he made some classics including the Seventh Voyage of Sinbad that my mom took to see and convinced me the cyclops was out there and would find me if I disobeyed orders and went off our block :eusa_angel:

She had a unique parenting method of keeping me from wandering off.

Other great movies include another favorite of mine "Clash of the Titans".

Thank you sir for your dedication to your craft and the joy you brought us all. You showed us heroes and heroines and monsters were just a movie ticket away.

RIP

I'd like to think Ray's now getting to see some really 'special effects' of a most glorious kind: he certainly brought magic to my childhood years, too!

He was a great stop-motion animation creator.
We all loved his movies.
RIP Harry
