The media focuses on House and Senate races while ignoring these important ones. With the exception of Dear Leader, most presidents have experience as governors and these could have a serious impact on 2016.

4) Illinois. It’s bad enough that Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn is trailing by double digits in some polls. Now, he has federal investigators and state lawmakers breathing down his neck over a troubled anti-violence program.

The only reason the Maine governor race is even competitive is because that idiot Eliot Cutler refuses to back out of the race and is running as a progressive independent....Michaud would have it in the bag otherwise.
