Rasmussen: 69% Say It’s Likely Scientists Have Falsified Global Warming Research

When we had "Snowmageddon", the non-science accepting, anti-global warmers were cackling about shoveling a foot of "global warming" off their driveways. Why haven't they said anything about this summer?

FWIW, the science doesn't back the far left assertions that global warming is an entirely man-made phenomenon. Science does show that we are experiencing a noticeable climate change and that man-made activities may be accelerating or enhancing it. To deny the climate is changing, that our globe is, indeed warming is to deny science in favor of extreme right-wing political correctness.

And you guys swear by a conspiracy theory that hundreds of scientists spread across the globe all made up global warming so they could raise taxes or whatever.

But hey you don't see any difference between the opinions of random people and the opinions of experts who actually study this stuff.

no.... they claim global warming so they can get research grants, to do more studies, to find more 'evidence', to get more grants.....

Because NASA had such trouble getting money before, what with them being a really unpopular program and all.

It would still be the biggest conspiracy of all time considering all the groups that have publicly stated it was real.

The conspiracy is well documented. It's not a theory. That's what Climate gate is all about. it proves warmist scientists conspired with each other to keep the papers of skeptics from getting published. They also doctored the data. The data at HadlyCRU and NCDC isn't worth the computer drives its stored on.

69% Say It

The debate over global warming has intensified in recent weeks after a new NASA study was interpreted by skeptics to reveal that global warming is not man-made. While a majority of Americans nationwide continue to acknowledge significant disagreement about global warming in the scientific community, most go even further to say some scientists falsify data to support their own beliefs.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of American Adults shows that 69% say it’s at least somewhat likely that some scientists have falsified research data in order to support their own theories and beliefs, including 40% who say this is Very Likely. Twenty-two percent (22%) don’t think it’s likely some scientists have falsified global warming data, including just six percent (6%) say it’s Not At All Likely. Another 10% are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here .)

The number of adults who say it’s likely scientists have falsified data is up 10 points from December 2009 .

Fifty-seven percent (57%) believe there is significant disagreement within the scientific community on global warming, up five points from late 2009. One in four (25%) believes scientists agree on global warming. Another 18% aren’t sure.

Polls, polls, polls.
to illustrate my point over 40% still approve of Obama. According to the polls that is.

What would they say? The weather gets hot during the summer.

Science shows no such thing.

To deny the climate is changing, that our globe is, indeed warming is to deny science in favor of extreme right-wing political correctness.

Wrong. Skepticism is the fundamental principle of science. Anyone who claims "the science is settled" is a scientific ignoramus and more than likely a charlatan.

All the poll shows is that the warmist fraud has no chance of getting passed into law. People have woken up. They can no longer be conned by the warmist charlatans.

People have been programmed.
Based on partisan and capitalist agendas.

The truth will not be realized until it is too late.

Yes a bunch of scientists trashed a very poorly made and flawed paper and some people who pretend to be skeptics took some quotes out of context.

Clearly this undermines the research done by other scientists and they are all linked to some stupid conspiracy theory.

The very same right wingers who see scientists as a bunch of fanatic left wing liars say that more than 6% of those very same scientists simply have got to be Republican.

That's the warmist spin on the scandal. The computer code shows the data was doctored. Furthermore, they threw away the source data, which means their "homogenized" data is pure crap.

I could go on all day with all the crimes, lies and cons perpetrated by warmist "scientists."

It usually doesn't snow here in summer.

It's been warmer for a while now, my SUV has nothing to do with it

What would they say? The weather gets hot during the summer.

Yes it does. Currently, some places are much hotter than usual:
Record Heat Bakes Texas, Already Suffering From Severe Drought - WSJ.com
There's no relief in sight for Texans suffering through the worst one-year drought here in at least a century, as deaths mount, crops wilt and drinking-water supplies evaporate in record heat.

The sizzling summer has brought misery across the Southern Plains states, and Texans are bracing for more after enduring the hottest July on record. "It does get hot around here, but what's not normal is how long it's lasted," said Jason Dunn, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Fort Worth.

The mercury has hit at least 100 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 consecutive days in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The record is 42 days, set in 1980.

At least 14 people have died from the heat in Dallas County, which includes the city of Dallas, so far this year—more than in all of 2010. And Texans cranking up the air conditioning have pushed electricity use to record highs. On Thursday, unprecedented demand forced the state's power grid to shut off certain industrial customers. And there could be rolling blackouts if demand keeps rising, the Electric Reliability Council of Texas has said.

hmmmmm . . . . from your article:

The mercury has hit at least 100 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 consecutive days in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The record is 42 days, set in 1980.

In other words, it's not a record. It was warmer 30 years ago.

So much for your global warming horse manure.

You might want to look at trends, not the record highs or lows of a particular year. The reason I mentioned this one was because the politically motivated anti-science folks made such a big deal about "Snowmageddon" but not a peep out of them on what is quickly becoming one of the hottest summers in memory.
