I watched the whole thing and I am sure that people didn't just stay home. My take is that they had friends over to
visit in their closed-in apartments, maybe went outside for a while rather go stir crazy. Housing is very close to each other and just going outside next to their homes is taking a chance. So don't rely on the situation in NY as your proof.
If you believe otherwise since others do what Trump suggests, then go for it. The medical and scientific experts want to save your life, and regardless we are in for one hell of a recession with or without the plague as business closes or downsizes to survive.

It seems that nearly 50% of the total deaths due to Covid-19 have been in the North East mainly centered in New York city, New Jersey and Massachusetts. You have to wonder why? Now we find that 66% of the Covid cases in NYC were found to be people in quarantine lock down. Strangely, Upper New York State has been lightly affected by the virus yet Cuomo has locked down the entire State and refuses to allow those light affect to resume their lively hoods.

I think I have the answer to this. Hear me out.

Reports are the majority of these particular cases are from minority households, and the average age of the family member in the household that contracted the virus is 51.

Think about this for a minute. What do blacks and Hispanics all have in common ?

They have large families, and use welfare.

This means the older people likely are always home living on the dole, and with the large families, the younger ones are coming and going and likely brought the virus home to mom and grannny.

Apartment and office buildings like the type in NYC where all the residents use the same stairs elevators and doors as well as mailboxes are a real problem in pandemics...add in taxi cabs subway trains and boom you have thousands infected....at least in CA apartments are open hallway and every apartment has its own entryway....

But NY's real problem is a governor that wants as many corona deaths as he can get....
