I doubt you can tell much aboutindividuals' income distribution from these maps.

What they seem to be showing us is how wealthy in aggregate the populations are by area.


For instance, the wealthy in Russia a very VERY wealthy, yet Russia appears to be very poor (which it is).

What this shows us is the relative wealth by REGION, not income distribution.
 
Pure propaganda. The Euro is failing and Germany is tired of propping it up.

Also, it's a well known fact that cities along the coasts and major rivers have ALWAYS been richer due to the increased opportunities for trade there. It's the same in every country around the world.

Been that way for Centuries.
