    Times may have changed in the Service like our times at sea with dead time but one thing that hasn't and that is how creative the troops are:rock:

    The Navy are not "troops" they are sailors.

    Well I was in the Navy for 13 plus years and I had troops working for me.....I spent a lot of time at sea so sailor~troop same-same

    Nobody, in the entire time I was in, ever called us "troops" unless they were an army guy making a mistake.

    Just as a Marine is not a "troop" they are a Marine....

    ok, but in my rating it happened from time to time. for example: take some troops down in the mag and break out 5,000 rounds of 20 MM.
