Here is an interview with Ahmed Rashid conducted by Der Spiegel. Rashid is a Pakistani journalist and scholar based in Lahore. He is the author of the best-selling "Taliban: Militant Islam, Oil and Fundamentalism in Central Asia" (2000), a seminal book about Afghanistan before the US invasion. He wrote "Jihad, The Rise of Militant Islam in Central Asia" (2002). In addition, Rashid is the Pakistan, Afghanistan and Central Asia correspondent for the Far Eastern Economic Review and the Daily Telegraph. To sleep soundly tonight, try to forget that unstable Pakistan, where psychotic Islamikazes abound, possesses nuclear weapons.
