Did he ever express any guilt about it? Don't recall he talked much about it in interviews.

Mostly appeared on Celebrity Roasts in his later years.

It caused all sorts of panic - and no doubt directly caused some fatal heart attacks.

No question that broadcast caused deaths.
 
Welles was too much of a "genius" to let it affect him.

Not sure you can even say it was his fault.

Think he made it clear it was make-believe.

Stuff like this went on before the internet...............

Guilt for what? Orson Welles was simply a very brilliant and superb story-teller!

Citizen Kane has legs.

Though tit was boringt first couple of times I saw it -but after that the sheer greatnes of the film dawns on you.
