It's a little early to make a judgment on why the man was shot.

Why was he shot? Because he assaulted a store clerk, and then ran away. If this had been a black person getting shot, most of you conservatives would have said that he deserved it for breaking the law.

I doubt he was shot because he assaulted a store clerk. Something happened when they tried to arrest him. He could have attacked the cops, or they could have been the ones to go nuts and kill him. Nothing in the OP gives any indication which happened.

It said in the article that he had assaulted a store clerk. Additionally, there were several witnesses that said he had been driving in an unsafe manner.

True, but those are not grounds for execution. Who knows? The cops might have been on a search and kill mission, or not. Without more information, I don't know how to make a judgment on this one.

When the curve flattens. When we reduce the number of infections over a period of a couple of weeks. Who knows how long? We determine that.
You don't have to stay in private places. Just be smart when out and about. Wear a mask. Socially distance.
Pay attention to your hygiene like you are OCD to the max. And recognize that certain public
situations (like being packed in close spaces in bars and restaurants) are not going to happen until there is something that will allow us
that type of situation again. A vaccine. A reliable treatment.

We are our own worst enemy. Stop braying about liberty and freedom. Start being like the people of Sweden and make a commitment
to the collective good. Then, eventually, we can get back to something approaching normal.

The curve of Corona Deaths HAS flattened tremendously. The numbers are way off of the Mid April peaks.
