A Minnesota cop admitted in court Tuesday that he exchanged "racially charged" text messages with a man on trial for shooting five Black Lives Matter protesters in 2015.
Mankato Police Officer Brett Levin testified that he had been friends with Allen Scarsella, 24, since high school and was in close touch with him when he allegedly opened fire at a group of protesters in Minneapolis on Nov. 23, 2015, according to a Minneapolis Star Tribune report.
