At your local casino, you can't wear headphones while playing poker or take a photo with your phone if you win at slots.

Thank you for your time.

You can't wear headphones while playing poker at ANY casino. Aside from which it's fucking RUDE. You couldn't wear headphones at my local neighbourhood game either.

You are too stupid to be one person.

Canada is one of the best places to do business in the world. With their talented workforce & unprecedented access to global markets, more companies are choosing to invest in Canada. And that means a stronger economy & more good, middle class jobs for Canadians.

Canada has the fastest growing middle class in the world. Our tax code is structured to benefit working people, not corporations.

Canadians can and will destroy political parties who forget who they're working for. Just ask Brian Mulroney who went from a strong majority to failing to win enough seats for party status, or the taxpayer funded election fund. What was left of his party was absorbed by the Reform Party.

Canadian wages stuck in the 1970's. Except big government and undercover cops, they are milking it good at the next generations expense.

Average hourly wages in Canada have barely budged in 40 years

And how does this differ from hourly wages in the USA?

The middle class aren't paid hourly. Middle class workers are salaried workers.

I'm not the one that made the claim.
So what do you think brought about the growth?

A highly educated work force, universal health care, and a strong infra-structure.

Universal health care means that employers are paying 1 - 2% of wages and salaries for employees health insurance, instead of the $10,000+ they pay per employee for heath insurance in the US.

In 1998-99, when the Republican Congress and Senate passed banking de-regulation, Canadian bankers asked our finance minister, Paul Martin, to do the same. They said the wouldn't be able to compete with American banks under the the restrictions on derrivatives and sub-prime mortgages. Martin refused to do so, and the banks publically railed about that refusal.

In 2008, when the housing bubble burst, stock market crashed, and the US economy went into free-fall, we were affected, but our banks didn't need bailouts because they weren't involved in the derrivatices and sub-prime loans that nearly took down the world economy.

Since 2016, we've seen more companies locating in Canada because of the instability of the Trump Presidency. Foxcom, and few other big companies which originally announced plants in the USA have backed away from plans to expand there, in part because of Trump's trade wars, and his unpredictability. Business needs stability and consistency from government and Trump offers none.

You ran down the list didnt you!!
Canadian healthcare sucks,I had an Aunt and a Cousin that worked in the system and both said it sucked!

While I love the idea that Canada is thriving and I hope it continues I'm not all that impressed.

And it's looking like Trudeau is on the way out.

How much do we pay for mandatory car insurance in Ontario? Home insurance? Property taxes?

These expenses dwarf healthcare insurance. And, you actually receive this healthcare and not have to avoid surgery for a torn bicep for instance because you pissed off the wrong group of dirtbags.

Car insurance is not expensive if you live in a small town and have a good driving record. Ditto house insurance. You think these things are free elsewhere.

As for taxes, you get what you pay for. Good schools, infrastructure, community services. Support services for seniors. Plus community recreation centres, libraries.

As for your comments about health care, it never ceases to amaze me how much difficulty you seem to have navigating through life just pissing off people in power to the extent that they are actively fucking up your life and doing you harm. The RCMP, CSIS, and the medical establishment - everyone in authority has truly had it with you. Why is that?

You're drunk if you think insurance in Ontario isn't expensive. This is due to the massive insurance fraud, because Canadian police are basically useless. It's going to get much worse, this much is certain as the fascist knee jerkers push for more power.

I already know Kansas is a shithole.

Hopefully our new Democratic governor will change that a bit.
