Speaking of The Movie Channel, I remember when that first came on .. We were like WOW movies at home and of course this is when a VCR was like 800 bucks... I think you could only get it by C ban satillite too.. Well at least thats what we had.. You got everything on the huge satillites for free back then... That was awesome ! :rock:

I remember when Television first came to our little town in NH, round screen and all. I remember the first time I ever saw color TV, back when it first became commercially available. I remember when HiFi was the thing before stereo came along. I remember our house had a party line (telephone, not politics). I remember never having to lock the doors. I remember seeing table top radios with vacuum tubes in them. I remember seeing Veteran's Day parades with WWI vets in them.

We'd go outside an play till dark!

I'll bet we'd be better off now if parents would shut that thing off and
tell the kids, as they used to do, "Go outside an play"!

and they tell you not to get a girl pregnate for so many weeks afterwards.
