Well, hopefully not any longer, but for a while he's had every GOPer in the House wrapped around his finger with that silly no-tax pledge.

Good to see some of them recently telling him to get stuffed.

Well, he was certainly powerful enough when the GOP was driving us off the cliff.

Herman Cain has all the right qualifications for a cantankerous old grandpa....but POTUS?.....not so much.

He has only begun to be attacked.

    Yup.

His rendition of "Imagine" should cost him a few points right there when it gets around.

So let's see Grover Nordquist is against it based on the results of the VAT implemented in Europe.
Retailers are against it because it will kill retail sales.
For that reason economists are against it because it'll slow down consumer spending, which drives the US economy and also will reduce the GNP.
Plus 9-9-9 taxes the biggest segment of the US population (Middle Class & poor) at a higher rate than the wealthy la the sales tax.
Yet, the die-hards love it, even though most will be negatively effected by 9-9-9.
