How GREAT is this? When presented with all of the data and asked to crunch the numbers, the CBO has found that nothing will come even remotely close to curbing the deficit spedning by the federal government like cutting..... (are you ready?)...... (wait for it)........(wait for it)...... Obamacare!!!

Has there ever been a more embarassing and disasterous piece of legislation in US history than this abomination? It was conceived with the most humiliating and ignorant quote in US government history with Nancy Pelosi's "we have to pass it before we can find out what's in it" and has only gotten more disasterous from there.

CBO: ObamaCare Offers The Biggest Pot Of Long-Term Deficit Cuts - Investors.com

Read the article again. The CBO did not say money would be saved by eliminating ObamaCare. It said money could be saved by cutting elements of ObamaCare, like insurance subsidies. And the individual mandate.

Which is even more awesome goodness. All those uninsured people at up to 300% of poverty level who were going to get financial support from the federal government for their insurance are now the first on the chopping block.

The article also stated that "Obama and the Dems are unlikely to produce those cuts."

You know why?

Because the Insurance Industry wrote ObamaCare.
The Insurance Industry OWNS Obama AND the Democrat Party.

Oh you thought ObamaCare was for YOU?

LOL!

Actually they found that repealing the BUsh tax cuts would save 550/150= 3 2/3 times that amount.

Yeah I'm sure health insurers are thrilled they have to cover people regardless of pre-existing conditions and that their profit is essentially capped by the loss-ratio requirements.

The insurance industry did not write ObamaCare. Who could be stupid enough to believe they forced themselves to cover pre-existing conditions?

Jesus H. Christ.

Because of the pre-existing conditions, the insurance companies demanded and received the individual mandate to offset the pre-existing conditions part of ObamaCare. ObamaCare would have imploded without the mandate, because without it every American's insurance premiums would skyrocket.

As it is, ObamaCare does nothing to bend the cost curve down. Without the mandate to mitigate this, things would be even worse.

It is an utter, utter failure in all respects.

dumbass, the individual mandate is the backbone of obamacare. you fail.

The penalty fees or taxes are so much lower than the cost of insuring a company, most people will opt out and pay the tax so everyone will be on socialized medicine, Obama's plan from the start.

I bet it's so horrible.

Nope, they won't opt to pay any penalty, they will opt to make all employees part time and avoid obamacare altogether.

I hope that's how it works, because I think Misty was right, the goal in making the fine cheaper than the insurance was to force most people onto socialized medicine.

That's not what happened in Massachusetts.

As it so happens - most people see that paying $1 for nothing isn't as good a deal as paying $3 for something. Go figure.

No, but his tax cuts are still in effect. Do we stop calling ObamaCare ObamaCare when Obama is no longer the PResident? That would be confusing, wouldn't it?

Yeah kinda like how no companies ever work people overtime in order to avoid paying overtime.

Wait.

Why are his tax cuts still in effect?

I thought Obama was President and had a majority in the House and Senate for 2 years?

Obama could have changed them but didn't, that makes them Obama's too, no?

Obamacare would have ceased to exist had Romney won.

See how that works?

Obama doesn't get to decide the votes of people in Congress.
