DAMASCUS, (PIC) Hamas criticised what US president Barak Obama had to say with regard to the Palestine issue during his speech on Thursday and described it as blatantly biased in favour of the Zionist occupation at the expense of Palestinian national rights.
The movement said in a written statement on Friday that Obamas speech was a reinforcement of double standards politics when he talked about peoples right to freedom and dignity but ignored Palestinian rights and at the same time stressed his commitment to security of the Zionist entity as a Jewish state which encourages the occupation to commit more crimes against the Palestinian people and reinforces Israeli ethnic cleansing policies in the 1948-occupied Palestinian lands.
